Bakala Philanthropy is an umbrella organization for all the philanthropic activities of the Bakalas, namely the Scholarship programme enabling studients to study at the world's best universities, activities supporting young journalists and independent journalism, and support of institutions such as the Václav Havel Library, the Aspen Institute, or the Design Museum in London. The logical step in designing the Bakala Philanthropy logo was to unify the brands of existing organizations. We literally conceived the redesign in the spirit of Swiss minimalism - using the Suisse font from Swiss Typefaces in combination with the solidity of rich coral surfaces and hand-coloured photographs.
