This book is a record of a two-year conversation between graphic designer Barbora Toman Tylová and the doyen of Czech visual poetry, Bohumila Grögerová (1921-2014). The title of the interview reflects the poet's desire to understand the word, to venture beyond its meaning, while also hinting at the struggle of a nearly blind person who surpasses her physical limits through her work daily. This is the last interview with this unique artist who has left a permanent mark not only in Czech literary history.

The text is accompanied by a series of black and white documentary photos of visits to Bohumila Grögerová, and text photograms, which are, as a subjective graphic reinterpretation of Grögerová's contemporary poetry, hidden inside folded pages and thus separated from the interview. The book is completed by a screen-print on the cover and the Fenomen font by Signature Type. The book is one of the outputs of the author's complex project Beyond Word.
